The award was given for the design performance for the new brand presence, such as the changed company logo. The design with the striking “X” and the two orange bars as well as the Matthäi lettering obviously convinced the jury.
The value of this award is shown by the fact that there were a total of 11,000 entries from 57 countries for the internationally renowned award. A jury consisting of 132 experts has now selected the Matthäi design as one of the lucky winners.
Matthäi thus joins a long line of honourees. After all, the prestigious award has been presented annually since 1954. Accordingly, the iF Design Award is one of the most important design prizes in the world. It awards design achievements from all disciplines: product, packaging, communication and service design, architecture and interior design as well as professional concept, user experience (UX) and user interface (UI).
